Molds are manufactured from the highest quality of aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and
stainless steel. These materials offer high-strength, corrosion and wear resistance with a
high level of thermal conductivity that helps our customers reduce their process cycles.
In the aluminum alloy category we use 7075-T6, Alumec 99, 98 and QC-7. In the copper
alloys we use Moldmax low hard and high hard, Protherm and Ampco 940. The stainless
steels range from Ramax, Stavax, Corrax and 17-4 stainless.
With our vast experience we know what materials to use when and in what combination so
that we can make the best choice for your next project.
Compact can supply you with take-off and deflash tooling for either in-machine or
downstream part trimming. Tooling is constructed of aluminum alloy and offers
multi-directional
position adjustment for ease of set up.
Our design and manufacturing facilities are outfitted with the latest equipment and
technology. This enables us to meet the most rigorous delivery dates in today’s demanding
market.
Once in production we can help keep your mold up and running. We stock a large inventory
of standard parts and wear items. These items can be shipped to you the same day, to arrive
within 24 hours virtually anywhere in North America.
